Following a wave of major acquisitions, Medical Solutions is more driven and engaged than ever in collaborating with our travelers and healthcare clients through distinguished, high-touch, human-first service. Major recent acquisitions preceding our rebranding include:
On Assignment:In 2014, Medical Solutions closed our first acquisition with the purchase of On Assignment, a travel nursing company with a strike response service offering, NurseBridge.
PPR Travel Nursing and 360 Healthcare:In 2018, Medical Solutions acquired PPR Travel Nursing and 360 Healthcare (which PPR previously had acquired), propelling Medical Solutions from a $250 million company to $500 million.
C&A Industries:And in October 2019, Medical Solutions finalized the acquisition of Omaha-based C&A Industries, parent company to five workforce solution brands – Aureus Medical Group (nursing and allied health staffing); FocusOne Solutions (managed services); and non-clinical staffing firms Aureus Group, Celebrity Staff, and AurStaff. With the acquisition, Medical Solutions grew from a $500 million to a $1 billion+ company. This acquisition enabled Medical Solutions to expand our market share and further diversify our value proposition, primarily into the allied health space as well as into non-clinical staffing.
