To start trading with HDFC SKY, you will have to open a Demat account. You can open this account online, and it requires no paperwork. You can open a Demat account in HDFC SKY with zero account opening charges. Also, in the first year you don’t have to pay any AMC.
Opening a Demat account in HDFC trading app is an easy, quick and seamless process. To open a Demat account in HDFC SKY online, your Aadhar card must be linked to your mobile number and your Demat account will be open in 15 minutes. The whole process is digital, thus there is no paperwork and once your account gets opened, you can start trading the same day.
Given below is a step-by-step guide of how to open Demat account in HDFC Securities Mobile App – HDFC SKY –
Step 1 – Download and install HDFC SKY app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store
Step 2 – Sign up by entering your details like email ID, address and mobile number
Step 3 – You will receive a 4-digit OTP. Enter the OTP to verify details
Step 4 – For KYC verification, enter PAN number, date of birth and submit to verify KYC
Step 5 – For identity verification, upload the front side of the picture of the PAN card
Step 6 – Next enter your name, your father’s name and PAN number
Step 7 – For video KYC, you will have to take a selfie and upload the image to complete the video KYC
Step 8 – Next enter personal details like your name, name of the nominee (optional), marital status, occupation, income etc.c
Step 9 – Enter your bank account details like the bank name, account number and IFSC code. Once the system run verification of the entered details, it will send Re 1 to your bank account for verification
Step 10 – Select your preferred exchange – NSE or BSE
Step 11 – Select your preferred segment – equity, derivative, commodity, currency
Step 12 – If you want to trade in F&O, upload salary slip or bank statement of last 6 months, or the latest ITR
Step 13 – Next upload your signature and then click on the e-sign form
Step 14 – Accept the terms & conditions and proceed to e-sign
Step 15 – Enter your Aadhar to generate your Aadhar OTP
Step 16 – Enter the Aadhar OTP and digitally sign both the KRA and account opening form
Once you have completed the above steps successfully and signed the forms, the submitted details will be verified by the HDFC SKY customer service team. Once the verification process is complete, your Demat and trading account will be opened. You will receive the notification of the same in the HDFC Securities Mobile App – HDFC SKY.
