What is the code yellow in the HonorHealth hospital? ›

YELLOW for bomb threat. GRAY for a combative person. SILVER for a person with a weapon and/or active shooter and/or hostage situation.

A Code Black is called when staff require emergency assistance because a patient or other person(s) poses a serious safety risk to others in the organisation (staff, volunteers, patients, visitors, etc). Incidents may involve armed or unarmed aggressors threatening to harm themselves or others.

Code Grey is initiated following the loss of a critical system (i.e. electricity, water, heating, medical gas, communications, ransomware, information technology etc.) or any intervention measures that may pose a health and safety risk to those in the hospital.

Employee Self Service – Account Help

The Account Help allows a registered employee to recover their password with the Forgot Password recovery. The employee must enter their User Name or Employee Number and press the Recover button. An email with a 'reset password' link will be sent to employee's ESS email address.

Paid Leave and PTO Plan: Paid leaves (i.e. medical, FMLA) are subject to FMLA and or State of CA laws. The paid time off (PTO) plan provides the Resident with four (4) weeks paid time off or twenty (20) working days at 100% paid stipend. Unused PTO may not be paid out as additional income.

However, the American Hospital Association (AHA) recommends the use of colour-coded wristbands in the medical environment so that all medical staff speak the same language: Red: specific allergies. Yellow : for patients at risk of falling. Purple: do not resuscitate. Rose: limb restriction.

YELLOW: (Delayed) serious injuries but not immediately life-threatening. GREEN: (Walking wounded) minor injuries.

Code Black – Bomb threat. Code Blue – A respirator has stopped working, someone's heart has stopped or they are no longer breathing. Code Red – There is a fire somewhere in the building. Code Silver – A person with a weapon. Code White – A situation caused by someone's violent or aggressive behavior.

Yellow Tag - (Urgent) The yellow color is often used to designate patients with urgent conditions. These are individuals who require medical attention relatively quickly but their condition is not immediately life-threatening.
