Once again, our Prologis employees dedicated a day to giving back and getting involved on our annual IMPACT Day. This year, our teams from Düsseldorf, Munich and Frankfurt have been working together to support the Kinderhilfezentrum Düsseldorf – for the fourth year in a row. The organization cares for children and young people whose parents have fallen on hard times. We beautified the facility’s grounds with gardening and repairs. In addition, we presented the Kinderhilfezentrum with a donation of 5,000 euros. A big thank you goes to Josef Hinkel, mayor of Düsseldorf, for supporting our efforts. The opportunity to make a positive difference in our communities and donate our time and resources to good causes is something we are incredibly grateful for. We can’t wait for next year’s IMPACT Day!#PLDimpact #PrologisNorthernEurope #socialresponsibility

Our Prologis Germany team is developing a tailor-made sustainable logistics facility with 19,391 square meters on an old industrial site in the Lichtenberg district of northeast Berlin. The realization of this project is an important milestone for our growth in Germany. A pharmaceutical wholesaler signed a 10-year lease for two units of the all-electric building. We’re looking forward to the completion of the facility in early 2025.#prologisnortherneurope #logisticsrealestate #citylogistics

As part of our sustainability ambitions to reach net-zero emissions in our operations by 2030 and across our entire value chain by 2040, we’re increasing our existing focus on sustainable development. Which is why mid 2024 we will be ready with the development of a new sustainable warehouse near Breda: Prologis Park Breda DC4. This strategically located and fully electric warehouse of 45,000 square meters has a nature-inclusive design, equipped with solar panels and LED lighting. In addition, we are planting more than 60 large trees in its surroundings, installing a bird hide to facilitate bird watching in the area, and creating various recreation zones that allow employees to connect with nature. Given its sustainable features, the warehouse will be awarded a BREEAM Excellent certificate. Read more about Breda DC4 on our website: https://lnkd.in/eTaiaRGM

The Prologis Logistics Rent Index is our annual snapshot of global and local logistics real estate rental trends. In 2023, nearly all markets globally recorded positive real rent growth, amid positive demand, low vacancy, and the need to evolve supply chains in response to changing consumer expectations, operational challenges and persistent disruption. In Europe, market rents grew 7% on average. However, our Northern European market shows some differences: the Netherlands registered the highest rent growth with 13%, followed by Germany with 10%. In Sweden, rents grew at a slower pace in 2023 by 2.5%. Find out more in our Rent Index.#Prologisnortherneurope #logisticsrealestate #Prologisresearch

I am very pleased to announce that our Prologis team will start with the speculative construction of two logistics facilities in Illingen during the first half of 2024. The city near Stuttgart has great potential as it is home to a large number of manufacturing companies. The two distribution centers, one on a greenfield site and the other on a brownfield site, will be all-electric buildings, independent of fossil fuels. #prologisnortherneurope #illingen #logisticsrealestate

A donation to the Düsseldorf Children’s Aid Center was the reason why I met with the mayor of the city and some representatives of the social organization some days ago. As a partner of the city of Düsseldorf, we at Prologis will continue our commitment to the social sector and would like to build on our good cooperation with the Children’s Aid Center, which began in 2020. We really appreciate the great work of the local charitable institution.#prologisnortherneurope #kinderhilfezentrum #düsseldorf

Exciting developments at Prologis! We secured contracts for ten rooftop solar projects through a recent EEG tender issued by the German government. The additional 16 megawatts that these projects will add to Prologis’ existing 25 megawatts of solar power capacity in Germany can provide sustainable energy to more than 11,000 homes each year. Prologis’ global solar projects now produce 500 megawatts of electricity — a significant milestone towards our goal of reaching one gigawatt by 2025!#sustainability #prologisnortherneurope #renewableenergy
