Allianz Travel Insurance plans can reimburse you for lost trip expenses if you must cancel your trip for one of the covered reasons named in your plan.

As a general rule, travel insurance covers losses from unforeseen circ*mstances. With flights and trip cancellations, covered reasons include emergencies, such as unexpected natural disasters, the death of a family member or a serious illness or injury.

Before your trip - If you have to cancel your trip, due to a covered reason, before you head off on holiday, we may reimburse you for your pre-paid non-refundable travel investment (e.g. hotel fees);

You can cancel your policy anytime within this cooling off period and get a refund as long as your trip has not started, and you have not made a claim. If you cancel after the free-look period, your payment may not be refunded.
