An Income Protection Summary (IP summary) is a document which contains information regarding the amounts you have paid for your Income Protection policy during the financial year ending 30 June 2023. We recommend you take this IP summary to a registered tax agent when preparing your tax return.

Most income protection policies offer two or five years, or up to a specific age (such as 65). The longer the benefit period, the more expensive the policy. But it also means greater protection if you're unable to work for a longer time.
