If you're feeling lonely wandering the underground inCore Keeper, have no fear, pets are here! There are 11 different pets you can choose from, each with their own set of skills and bonuses for your character. Here's how to get all pets inCore Keeperand how they aid you.
How to Get a Pet inCore Keeper
Pets are hatched from eggs found in biomes or obtained as loot from boss fights inCore Keeper. Each pet has their own specific egg, which needs to be incubated for 30 minutes before hatching. Egg Incubators are crafted from a Copper Workbench. They require x8 Copper Bar and x8 Glass Piece per incubator, and need electricity to run. When you have an egg, place it in the incubator and wait until complete. Take the "cracked" version and place it in your hotbar. Use the cracked egg, like using an item, to have it hatch into your new pet. You'll earn theYour Very Firstachievement for hatching your first pet, regardless of the type of egg.
You can only have one pet equipped at a time, but the rest can be stored in chests. The same type of pet can come in eight different colors, except for the slimes. There's even an achievement,I want 'em all!,that rewards you for having each color of a pet stored in your chests. However, levels and stats of hatched pets all start at one and aren't transferable between members of the same species.
